ETAP Parser and its Evaluation Using a Deeply Annotated Corpus of Russian Texts
The paper presents a rule-based dependency parser for Russian, ETAP, and results of its evaluation, largely based on the data from the syntactically annotated corpus of Russian texts, SynTagRus. The corpus is used as a gold standard for parser evaluation. Important evaluation results show the figures of 0,889 for unlabelled attachment score, 0,849 for labeled attachment score, and 0,573 for core structure correctness.
