Length of Dependency Links in the Annotated Corpus of Russian
Analysis of various types of dependency links in the SynTagRus Treebank shows that the link frequency as a function of link length decreases roughly exponentially. Such decrease (at a slower rate) is also typical of the conditional probability of the occurrence of the link in a suitable situation.Back
